You will also visit the La Moneda Palace, which is the seat of government, and the most traditional neighborhoods of the historic center. The excursion also includes a visit to the Santa Lucía hill, called Huelén by the native peoples, a true urban oasis in the middle of the city center. It is there where you will learn even more about the history of Chile and enjoy incredible privileged views of the capital from its viewpoint. Then you will visit the Parque Bicentenario de Vitacura, one of the most modern and attractive urban parks in South America.

Valparaiso City Tour

In 1544, Valdivia declared Valparaíso as the port of Santiago. The original name of its location was the Valley of Paradise, due to the admiration that the natural charms of the region provoked in navigators who came from other latitudes.

Valparaíso de Chile is known for its great artistic and bohemian scene, where students, foreigners, painters, poets and writers meet, inspired by the port and its secrets.

The city is also recognized for being a great center of higher education, since some of the most important universities in Chile are established, such as the University of Valparaíso, the Federico Santa María Technical University, the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso and the University of Playa Ancha.

We are going to live this magical experience through walks through the hills, its colorful houses and its bohemian atmosphere, and then compare it with Viña del Mar, a modern city where the aristocracy began to move with only a 10-minute drive from Valparaíso.
